Cory...when we were watching some of the aol sessions at your house we watched a video of a band called "Jet"...
anyway...i saw their video tonight and its really cool....
i guess the Rolling Stones "hand picked" them to open their latest australian tour.
the rest of their songs sound like old rolling stones + AC/DC + craziness.

They had record HIGH temps in Arizona yesterday. 103 in Phoenix. I hate the heat. Looks like I'm gonna have a lot of time to sit in my hotel room. Fuckin heat.

rick thats insane. that kids is so retarded. i ate uncle nicks last night and shotgunned bud light with dan magers. always a good time.
so get this....i was looking through some old CDs at my parents house and found a "this train" cd....Cobra Joes old band.
First off...its a lot better than you think it would be. its kidna country-punk-ish. the drumming is really good. simple and solid. anyway. kinda random. did you ever get a hold of him Cory? ill bring the CD home with me so you guys can check it out. I also got the new Lost Highway sampler and the best of John lee hooker 1965-1974. i wanted to get "it servers you right to suffer"...but it wasnt in stock. this one is really good too. i feel you rick...im missin' the basket too. alright.

guys, i have some awesome Perkins story that we he just told me tonight...
apparently after Summerfest we left...but justin kept drinking for another hour or so, but then he was so drunk that he decided he needed a nap, so he went over to the edge of the lake by those huge rocks and took a nap. kinda funny. justin sleeping on the ground by the lake during summerfest. other than that he also has big plans for the week of my 21st birthday...he wants to party the whole week...and hes coming down to rockford for a few days during that week. whatever. The obsoletes were the best i have ever seen them tonight. they ripped it up hard core. they were all completely sober, which i think is a first, and probably a last.
aight. thats it for now.

we deffinately need to make some sweet music at the practice space next week sometime.

on another note.... That company that made that Alice Peacock girls website that we saw at cory's also makes John Mayers website. It is almost exactly the same. That is one thing i really like about ryan...i can tell that a website is his work, but the dont all have the same format and layout. too bad the guy is a flake...and im not talking about the frosted kinda. kiyuck.
